It's safe to say my admiration for Laurie Anderson moved into
"charming-and-in-no-way-threatening-or-creepy" obsession territory back around 1985. First I saw her video for O Superman in... what? '83? I know it was on Friday Night Videos, and I know it was late that night, and I know that it changed me... sorry the date escapes me.
