The Day That Never Comes.
It was a good run! Next time, maybe Blondie shouldn't supply the soundtrack.

Confederancy Of Dunces. Or Donalds. Whatever.
Phew! The Wahlberg has spoken:
“Marco is a humble man who has not forgotten his roots, and he will fight to make sure that where you come from does not determine how far you can go. We need a leader like Marco to inspire a new Republican party and unite our nation, and I am proud to support him for President.”

Scarborough: Fair?
You wouldn't know a Liberal Media if one bit you on the ass and taped a "People Behaving Badly" segment about it.

Sadly.
"Neighbors bring food with death and flowers with sickness and little things in between. Boo was our neighbor. He gave us two soap dolls, a broken watch and chain, a pair of good-luck pennies, and our lives. But neighbors give in return. We never put back into the tree what we took out of it: we had given him nothing, and it made me sad."
-To Kill a Mockingbird
Rest in peace, Harper Lee.

You Keep Me Hangin' On.
Anyone who tells you that President Obama should wait, or that stonewalling his nominee is a good idea because "the American people should decide (in the coming General election) needs to be reminded of one simple fact: the American people did decide. In 2008, and again in 2012. #letthepresidentbethepresident

Meet Me In Montauk.
more thinner than recall
more seldom than a wave is wet
more frequent than to fail
it is most mad and moonly
and less it shall unbe
than all the sea which only
is deeper than the sea
love is less always than to win
less never than alive
less bigger than the least begin
less littler than forgive
it is most sane and sunly
and more it cannot die
than all the sky which only
is higher than the sky
[love is more thicker than forget]

Yan Can Granite Expo.
Can anyone explain this to me? I haven't slept since I saw this commercial last year.

Jingo Fret.
Look, reciting the pledge of alegiance creeped me out as a tot. Matter of fact: I spent an entire fall murmuring the Green Lantern's oath instead each morning. The national anthem is about as weird to me. It's impossible to sing, and full of questions and no one's proud... mostly everyone is confused. It's both singularly American and obviously stupid... which I suppose is singularly American.
So I could give a shit who sings that pointless song before anything... but I was intrigued when They said Lady Gaga would sing it for Super Bowl 50.
I'm sure They made that decision for all the wrong, crass, commercial reasons... but holy fuuking shit did she show them. And us.
Sometimes it is the home of the brave, huh?
